Match first
Use Famd to get to know a family before you decide whether you want to share more or meet. You control what optional information you reveal, including an adult photo or last name.
Chat privately
Start with text. Do not share your home address, children’s full names, school details, daily schedule, financial information, passwords, or anything else you are not comfortable sharing. You can block, unmatch, or report.
Meet somewhere comfortable
- Choose a public place for a first meeting.
- Tell a trusted person where you will be and arrange your own transportation.
- Meet during daylight when possible and leave if something feels wrong.
- Do not feel pressured to host, provide childcare, lend money, or continue a connection.
Report concerns
