Lead with respect

• Be honest about who you are and what you are looking for.
• Use kind, non-pressuring language. Respect a no, a pause, an unmatch, or a boundary without argument.
• Remember there is a real person and a real family behind every profile.

Protect children’s privacy

• Do not post children’s full names, photos, contact details, school or childcare details, home address, schedule, or other unnecessary identifying information.
• Do not ask a child to communicate with you directly or use a child’s information to identify, contact, monitor, or target them.

Keep conversations safe

• Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, shame, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
• Do not send sexual content, solicit sexual content, or engage in sexual conversations involving a minor.
• Do not impersonate another person, misrepresent a material part of your identity, or use Famd to scam or defraud.

Matches are not obligations

A match does not create an obligation to reply, share personal information, meet, host, babysit, provide transportation, lend money, or continue a connection. Move at a pace that feels comfortable for your family.

No commercial or harmful use

• Do not use Famd for spam, recruiting, sales, fundraising, political campaigning, unauthorized research, or automated collection of profiles or messages.
• Do not promote illegal activity, hate, violence, exploitation, unsafe activity, or discrimination.

Reporting and moderation

If something feels unsafe or violates these guidelines, block or unmatch the account and report it through the available tools. Depending on the circumstances, Famd may remove content, limit visibility, issue a warning, suspend or terminate an account, or contact appropriate authorities. We may retain limited safety records when reasonably necessary.
